We both believe in using government coercion to enforce a certain level of responsible, moral behavior in society.

What we disagree on are drug laws and their enforcement.

If you disagree with giving tickets to people who run red lights, or arresting those suspected of murder, or paying taxes to support the military, etc., then we do have a more major disagreement than I believe.

I believe in using government coercion to enforce only non-violation of the rights of others---and drug use violates nobody's rights.
