Dr. Steinberg actually can look pleasant when she smiles. However, a more interesting comment on Dr. Dean is his choice of who he chose to hostess the Governor's conference because his wife doesn't do politics. He chose Susan Bayh, wife of the then-Governor of Indiana, Evan Bayh.

Hmmmm. Gee, why didn't he choose another governor's wife? Got any guesses?
