It's a step in the right direction for the judge to take the guardianship FROM the HINO. Take heart everyone!

No, Wolfson is not taking the guardianship from Schiavo. He is merely a court "advocate" and appears to be an advocate for Schiavo, not for Terri. This judge knew all this when he made the selection. It's part of FL's "good-ol' boy" network. I wonder if Wolfson and Demers have connections with Senator Graham.

"It's a step in the right direction for the judge to take the guardianship FROM the HINO" But he hasn't. The HINO is still calling the shots. The GAL is just a representative who offers an opinion in court and it seems that even the court is arrogantly operating on the suppostion that Terri's Law will be overturned on Constitutional grounds. As I see it, the most important Contitutional issue here is the right to life. If defending the most fundamental principle of the Constitution is deemed "unconstitutional," we might as well throw the
document away, because it has lost all real meaning anyway.

I didn't think Schiavo lost all rights with respect to this--doesn't he still have the power to cut off his in-laws' visitation rights, etc???
