I'm watching my local News (Philly) about the courts appointing a new guardian

Now they are reporting that she suffered from a chemical imbalance 13 years ago

The chemical imbalance isn't new. That was the grounds of the malpractice award.

Check out the posts referenced in post #71 on the thread about the professor being appointed to investigate. The posts are by someone who was a private investigator on the case and has seen the court records. Interesting take.

I think Larry was mystified by Michael's stubborn determination to kill off Terri come h*ll or high water. To be honest, I think Larry was shocked when, in response to LK asking him why the Schindlers are doing this (fighting to keep Terri alive), MS said, "To make my life hell?" with an apologetic smirk! That's another incredibly callous display that should be replayed during the Schindler's interview. Has Michael no idea how bad that made him look?!

Excellent point.......I agree.....I thought the same thing. I just had the impression that LK was really surprised by all of it. You would think he would have done more research..

According to the Florida statutes, Pat Anderson can petition the court for removal of Michael as Terri's guardian. If the last time the guardianship was petitioned was pre-Sept. 2002, then possibly the actual births of two children by Michael and Jodi can act as evidence compelling enough to remove him. Let's hope whatever judge sees this will agree with the Schindlers.

744.3715 Petition for interim judicial review.--

(1) At any time, any interested person, including the ward, may petition the court for review alleging that the guardian is not complying with the guardianship plan or is exceeding his or her authority under the guardianship plan and the guardian is not acting in the best interest of the ward. The petition for review must state the nature of the objection to the guardian's action or proposed action. Upon the filing of any such petition, the court shall review the petition and act upon it expeditiously.

(2) If the petition for review is found to be without merit, the court may assess costs and attorney's fees against the petitioner.

In order for that to happen soneone has to directly BRING UP THE CRIMINAL ACTIVITY ON MICHAEL'S PART in this case on TELEVISION where most of the sheeple get their "news". This whole thing is really in God's and Mr. Schindler's court now.

Yes, I agree...someone must be first to directly accuse Michael of foul play, and then the ball will be in Michael's court, to SUE for defamation (think discovery and depositions!)

Mr. Schindler said as much in one appearance - he invited MS to sue him.

The doctor who said Terri had a "rigid neck" hedged a bit when asked if that was a sign of foul play; it is not within his area of expertise to accuse Michael of criminal activity) but as he stated, it was his observation that the only other incidence of this "rigid neck" type of injury he had seen was a strangulation injury.

So, depending on how Demers rules, or doesn't rule, on Nov. 5 (on Anderson's motion to remove MS as guardian) I expect some fireworks from the Schindlers on LKL to heat up the debate.

The Schindlers can voice their opinion on Michael's motives, or the way they view the bone scan report, in a way professionals cannot.
