It seemed to me that there were a few seemingly un- affected people. This was probably pretty tame by California standards. Kind of reminds me of an old World War 2 movie where two Nazi officers were having drinks in a restaraunt during a bombing raid and the building was taking damage. When the plaster fell from the ceiling they just picked it out of their drinks like nothing was out of the ordinary. Wish I could remember what movie that was.

Why would anyone want to shoot a lawyer? They are among America's most respected people, behind pornographers and carjackers.

Perhaps even have a civil suit filed against him by any future victims of this lawyers actions while practicing law.Yes. The mans poor shooting skills certainly put others at risk to the future predations of this attorney.

She may not have known what she was hearing. I didn't the first time I heard handgun shots outdoors. Sounds more like a "pop" than a "bang." Luckily for me my husband was not as uninformed as I.

Agree about the horrible part but if the perp would have used something decent like maybe a .357 he could have got the lawyer thru the tree....

Why would anyone want to shoot a lawyer? Who would want to gut and clean one. Though it would be a nice head to have on the wall.

Shooter had a bad flinch, kept jerking the trigger.
Thank goodness most bad guys are bad shots.

Only what millions of Americans would love to do to lawyers! So then you're condoning violence against lawyers. If so, then you really are one sick MF.
To: TBall
"The best part was the shooter just started walking away like nothing happened." They said the perp yelled back as he was walking away, "That's what you get for taking my money."

She knew...she was watching the whole thing...at one time she starts to put the phone down then changes her mind...she continues talking as the victim stands there bleeding on the sidewalk...must have been an important call.
