In 2001, the Schindlers submitted an affidavit by Dr. Webber stating that therapy could improve Terri's condition.

Mostly based on Dr. Webber's affidavit, the Florida Second District Court ordered a brand-new evidentiary hearing with five medical doctors. These doctors had access to Terri's record, were allowed to perform any medical tests or scans on Terri, were also authorized to examine Terri personally.

All the doctors were video taped during their Terri's examination, and the court ordered that all-expenses be paid out of Terri's trust fund.

These five doctors were:

2 neurologists chosen by Schiavo.
1 neurologist chosen by the court.
1 radiologist and 1 neurologist chosen by the Schindlers.
Althought the appeals court anticipated Dr. Webber to testify in the evidentiary hearing conducted in 2002, Dr. Webber did not show up.

Instead the Schindlers had to make do with a radiologist and a neurologist who has his license on probation.

As expected, the experts chosen by the Schindlers testified that Terri was not in Persistent Vegetative State.

On the other hand, the other three experts testified that she was in either Persistent Vegetative State or Permanent Vegetative State.

Of course, this mantra you hear that the Schindlers were not allowed to present their doctors is false. The Schindler's experts were not convincing to the trial court, or to the appeals court that reviewed all the video tapes, the transcripts, test results, brain scans, etc.

"On the other hand, the other three experts testified that she was in either Persistent Vegetative State or Permanent Vegetative State."

Yes, in particular the court chosen Dr. Peter Bambakidis. Here's a video clip that composed a significant portion of the 20 min time he spent examining Terri: balloon. That's ole doc Bambakidis's arm that appears in the flick. He's asking Terri to follow the balloon. Note his comments towords the end that she does follow the balloon. Yet he testified later in court that she was unresponsive. Maybe the old fool has alzhiemer's, do you suppose? Do you suppose Terri would have followed those instructions if they were given in Mandarin, or Urdu?

You know Mikey boy's bro said the guy in the pic was just following Terri's random moves. Suppose Dr. Bambakidis was just seeing if he was still quick and agile enough to follow the random head wanderings of a woman in PVS? The fact is that she's not in a PVS and never was. That's a consensus diagnosis given to enable a quick and easy disposal. The docs lied.
