Everytime somebody gets to be the oldest person, they end up dying. Damn! All that living for such a brief, shining moment of glory at the very tip-top of the food chain.

I'm curious about the 2-days of sleeping and 2-days of staying awake. I wonder if that tricked the body into living longer. Maybe our aging process is triggered by the number of times we sleep. Something to look into.

So her body thought she was 58 when she died? Seems kinda young. :-)

She slept 2 days, then was awake 2 days...
116 year divided by 2 awake days = 58 "awake" years...
???
