I was in NYC on business during that storm (it was referred to as the Halloween N'oreaster until Junger's book came out. I can still remember almost getting knocked over by the wind passing between the WTC towers as I walked by them. Kinda sad remembering that now.

At first, I didn't remember that storm until you mentioned the way it was in NYC. (I didn't see the connection.) I was selling furniture in Brooklyn then, and took forever that day to get to the store (I was an hour and a half late, IIRC), the place was shut down, and I was soaked to the bone.
