Life returning to normal in So. Calif.
Fox in L.A. (on air) | 10/31/2003

Life in So. Cal. must be returning to normal. KTTV (Fox) is covering the end of a police pursuit. That's right; L.A.'s favorite pastime, running from the cops, is back!

The police were chasing a stolen SUV through south L.A. with two suspects inside. They reportedly were involved in a hit and run at some point with a pedestrian. The streets in area are slick from a light rain. The suspects bailed out and the driver was followed by air units to a driveway where he hid under a pickup truck. The suspect then tried to hide up under the bed between the bed and the frame. Police are reporting that he's stuck now.

Life returning to normal in So. Calif.

I've lived in Southern California for 21 years. Make no mistake; life is not normal here, nor will it ever be.
