I wonder if it was coffee that Laci had. I mean Coke has caffine. I think that a toxi-test on the baby might have revealed more information at to what Laci might have injested.

I wonder about the hair in the pliers. I wonder if Laci's body, when recovered, had any body hair on it that they could have used to compare the plier hair to. Seems like that type of sample would be a more effective comparison. As it stands now, it appears that the expert is saying that the hair belongs to a child of S.Rocha. I don't know I'm just wondering, I'm no the eggspert.

Mitochondrial DNA is the same for all her Mother's children.It is passed from mother to child.Hair without a follicle cannot be tested for the more unique DNA.
