Okay.
Why CNBC?

I'd like to think that CNBC is finally realizing that to compete with Fox they'll have to show the conservative side of the news as well.

Yes, but why take a third rate time slot for a fourth rate network when I'm sure Fox would give him any platform he wanted - probably right after H&C, if he asked.
The unfortunate thing is no one will watch. Not because they don't want to hear what he has to say, but I don't know ANYONE who watches CNBC.
I think the guy's brilliant and deserves a better venue than this.

Right guy, wrong network.
FNC was asleep on this one...

Awww, does this mean he isn't going to run against Boxer?

Why CNBC? Why not?
The market is demanding to see the conservative point of view. CNBC with Denis Miller and MSNBC with Joe Scarborough are trying to tap into a market demand that Fox News currently draws upon.
The liberal strangle hold over the media is over. The cat's out of the bag. The truth is out there.
Liberals are losing elections left and right, because the liberals can't control the debate. Both side of the argument are out there, and Americans are conservative.

Yes they could have...but I don't think 'Bill O' could share the spotlight with Miller.

Isn't the 9:00 spot in direct competition with Hannity and Combs?

Yes it is. That's not very nice...Joan Rivers almost lost her career because she bit the hand that gave her the break. Don't like it.

I will watch for a while. O'Reilly is getting a little old. It will be nice to be able to switch back and forth between two good programs.
