I hope his cellmates make sure that Faris spends the next 20 years in a permanent 'I dropped the soap' position. Then the virgins he covets will appear to be more masculine in the end (pun intended).

..al Qaeda was planning two simultaneous attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. The al Qaeda leader spoke with Faris about destroying a bridge in New York City by severing its suspension cables, and tasked Faris with obtaining the equipment needed for that operation. The leader also explained that al Qaeda was planning to derail trains, and asked Faris to procure the tools for that plot as well.

Before sentencing Faris, Judge Brinkema denied Faris' request that he be allowed to withdraw his guilty plea.

This fact here will probably keep his lawyers and the ACLU busy for years filing appeals. In the meantime, he'll become the next darling of the "free Mumia" crowd, who will doubtless latch onto Faris' case as yet another example of John Ashcroft trampling our civil liberties under his jackboots or some other such horse puckey.

20 years is not enough. If he didn't get caught, this mutant would have taken part in an attack on us. Who knows how many lives would have been lost. Now we have to feed him, clothe him, and take care of his medical and spiritual needs, all on our taxes. This really stinks.
