Michael mentioned on Larry King Live there was no insurance policy on Terri (but no one asked that question of him). How hard would it be for Judy (his girlfriend) to have a policy on Terri and keep it hidden?
Michael wasn't prosecuted because no on had suspicions that he had tried to kill her, and during her stay in the Hospice (where it appears he was giving her insulin injections during his visits to try and kill her) he was intimidating the nurses into keeping quiet, and had the cooperation of the management in doing so.
FELOS the lawyer was running the hospice, and Judge Greer has possible ties to the board of directors of the Hospice. FELOS is a RIGHT TO KILL lawyer and writes books about it, just check it out for yourself!
The nurses who worked with TERRI have lately made out sworn statements about Michael, and the fact that TERRI could TALK, and is not brain dead at all (or at least wasn't then.)
We will see what happens.
If Jodi does have such a policy and it is of non-trivial size (e.g. over $10K or so) insurance investigators should be all over it if she or Michael tries to collect. One of the major requirement of life insurance is that either the person buying the insurance or the beneficiary have an "insurable interest" in the insured party. Unless Michael met Jodi before Terri's collapse, there is no way Michael or anyone should have an insurable interest in Terri beyond reasonable funeral expenses.
