Ping. I always liked Norm. He is a funny guy. Kind of like Dennis Miller and Denis Leary.

I love Norm. He wouldn't kow-tow to NBC about O.J.'s guilt, either.
Norm rocks.

More Norm:
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3a1417874830.htm From the thread:
In answer to initial question upon introduction said something like "I'm sure [or, I hope] the Democrats will manage to steal this election from the winner."
In response to "Oh you like George Bush don't you?" he responds "yeah, I think he's a decent man."
Continues that we need new blood in White House with a comment to the effect that "We've got to get the murderers out of the White House."
One of the View is aghast and he responds, "C'mon, Clinton ... he killed a guy, you never heard that?"
When Babs Walter told him under no uncertain terms that this was live and not the place to make such accusations and he could not speak thus, he came back with: "Oh, all right, manslaughter, how about that?"
All women were furious and began insulting him ... joking how his career was over, he'd po'd all three, he'd never be on the show again, etc. and he finally shook his head, looked at the camera and said something like: "Man, everyone always told me that Hollywood was leftist liberal place ... I don't know where they got that idea. I guess that's just not true."

He ain't the only Canadian starting to feel this way. Maybe I'll request refugee status at the border. You guys do take Christian, white, male heterosexuals in don't you? Cuz Canada sure doesn't anymore.

It's actually MacDonald, not McDonald.

I don't know why, but he just does it for me. I enjoyed the debut of his new sitcom last night.

Norm was the funniest Weekend Update anchor ever. One of my favorite bits was one time he reported about Michael Jackson being in the hospital for exhaustion or something, and how he had two gigantic posters of a young Shirley Temple put in his hospital room.
Norm said "But don't get the wrong idea! Michael is still a homosexual pedophile."
Another time, he was reporting the 'best jobs' according to some industry survey -- stuff like systems analyst & college administrator, or what have you, then he revealed the worst job on the list: "Crack whore." The next year he did the same bit again, saying that a new job had displaced crack whore from the 'worst job' designation: "Assistant crack whore."

Norm MacDonald is refreshingly FUNNY.
I caught part of an interview with Bill McCuddy on Fox. The part I DID catch sent me to the Yellow Pages looking for a cosmetic surgeon. I heard MacDonald say he is sixty-one (61) years old!! Don't know if this is true or he was just joking.
