Terri is doing well, according to her parents, who ARE being allowed to at least see her daily now. Yes, she is being fed and no, she is not out of danger from the HINO who is busy in court trying to not only have Terri's Law overturned as being "unconstitutional" but is trying to block the appointment of a guardian ad litum pending the "overturning" of the law, which so many people seem to think is a given. Terri's parents/attorney have challenged the appointment of Jay Wolfson who had been proposed as GAL, due to his obvious pro-death stance and disagreement with Terri's Law.

Meanwhile, Michael Schiavo has been on television and made a complete @ss of himself to the point that anybody with a brain could pick apart all the lies, not to mention that he revealed himself pretty blatantly, in my opinion, as a callous and unfeeling person at many levels, and was clearly nervous at the prospect that at some point he might be expected to prove some of what he was claiming.

The good news, besides the fact that Terri is doing well and has apparently not suffered damage to her organs as a result of the most recent attempt on her life, is that there are now some big legal guns getting involved on Terri's behalf, including the ACLJ. There was another one, but I forgot what it is. Perhaps someone else could post that.

There are still many FReepers diligently researching and passing information on to where it needs to be and we are all doing what we can to circulate information to dispel the myths and downright lies that are circulating around out there regarding the case.

I guess that is pretty much the overview. maybe others will add to what I have posted. Unfortunately, without reading the threads, many of the details get lost. I can certainly understand your reasoning in not wanting to do so though. I keep my TV off most of the time any more for the same reason.

The Beltway is also keeping an eye on all. Every phone call, email and fax counted along the way.
