I'm not a fan of beauty pageants, but I think she's beautiful. Perhaps there is a reason the Taliban instituted the burka! I'm sure that there are more than a few Western fathers who would like to pop a burka on their teen aged daughters. I'm glad that they explained that Miss Afghanistan has been living in S. California since 1996. That explains a lot.
