Liberals won't see "good" news until the US leaves Iraq and Saddam frees the Iraqi people of the newly placed zionist policies of Bush and Sharon. </sarcasm>

I was watching the NewsHour last night and they had a very uplifting segment on Iraq. The Iraqis were talking about all that was being done, how the council is making most of the decisions, the electricity is on much more than it is off,all the businesses starting up, the police force. One guy said we will be the Japan of the Middle East. It was great. They said even with Al jezzera screaming everyday about the "OCCUPATION" the Iraqis are very happy with the situation and they know it takes time. The one desenting voice said no more than the US are now occupiers when they leave we (the Iraqis) will say thank you and consider them liberators.

It's important for us to take out Saddam and find the WMD's.
Lots of progress in lots of places.

I was not around in WWII but was there this urgent need to find Hitler? I do not believe that history reflect the results of the Allies victory was hollow because Hitler was never found.

I saw a documentary on the hunt for Hitler from the viewpoint of released info and film from the Russians. They're the ones who had the responsibility for his sector of Berlin.
The devoted lots of energy to tracking him down and then in hiding his disposal site. History channel, I think.

Thank you for posting the DoD Iraq info, xzins...and the pings (PYW, too *g*).
If I don't respond to what you know is a good news thread, I'm either off on a project or, too often these days, missed an important ping. I appreciate Freepmail. (^;
