...will write to my reps about supporting S 1558. Excellent!
The House bill that most closely resembles this bill is being proposed by Congressman Pickering, and the last I heard had tremendous support.
I'll try to get more info about that bill and post it.

Hmmmm. Ok. So your Life and Liberty ping list includes Terri's Fight. Sorry to make you run around in circles, but I do want on the Life and Liberty. I'll just deal with the duplicate Terri pings.

Thanks for the ping to this one. I'm especially taken with rep Peter King. It would seem he has had an injection of spinal stiffener, eh? From NY no less! Maybe he can lead the way for some of our other limp-spined Pubbies. Hope springs...

Well, I do believe the Manhattan skyline is visible from his District. Isn't he from Long Island?
In any case, that is bound to have an effect on people.
New Yorkers have seen the cost of ignoring the threat, up close and personal.

Well, I do believe the Manhattan skyline is visible from his District. Isn't he from Long Island? I believe so; Massapequa comes to mind. I did some quick scouting around and found he's usually reelected with 70%+ of the vote. Pretty safe seat I'd say. He can afford to speak his mind; I just wonder if he's not gotten the attention he deserves from the media? Nah, couldn't be.
New Yorkers have seen the cost of ignoring the threat, up close and personal.
Just so.
