I seem to recall having a highly sensitive BS meter at that age and most of the current crop of college students probably do too. One of the reasons for Reagan's popularity was the fact that whether you agreed with his politics or not, it was patently obvious that the man was true to his beliefs and could be taken at his word. President Bush is much the same in that respect and all but the clinically deluded residual leftists on campus can see it.

Yup. I disagree with a lot of what W is doing; but I RESPECT the man, and he RESPECTS his office as POTUS. He doesn't LIE like the pathological liar: Mr. Stainman
