I’m Catholic and I too find this disturbing. It wasn’t until recently that the Catholic Church has excepted this and I do not believe for one minute that back in 1990, or prior to that, a Catholic girl would have wanted to be cremated.

Nor would a Catholic choose to end her own life. An earlier thread stated Terri's husband prevented her from receiving the Host from her priest. Doesn't make sense to deny her that "because she might choke."

The husband's actions are very confusing.
