Michael is claiming that Terri made her comment about 'wanting her plug pulled if she ever was like that' in reference to the movie they were watching about Karen Ann Quinlan.
Michael brought his relatives (brother,sister-in-law?) to Judge Greer to testify they heard her make this statement. Problem? I don't remember mention of them being there.
A high-school friend of Terri's was there, and stated that someone at the gathering made a joke about how they should unplug Karen, and Terri was very upset and reprimanded that person.
SO, again, someone with nothing to gain claims a different story than relatives of Michael, who might have been promised some undeclared cash from the insurance policy Michael claims not to have, in return for lying.
I believe Michael's girlfriend works at an insurance company. How convenient.
What she doesn't know is that once Michael gets that money, if this would turn out to be true, is that he will no longer need her or her needy children. Wonder what she thinks?

She probably thinks that she's got lots of assets in her name, is not married to him, and could very easily pocket most of his ill-gotten gains. She could also at that point start singing like a canary and ensure he stays in prison where he belongs short-term, or she could arrange things so she has to shoot him in "self-defense" and send him where he belongs longer-term.
