I'm sorry for the kid and his parent, but imo the likelihood that the IDF hosed down a mound of earth with twenty children on it, and missed them all, is nil. And I doubt his parents left out any reports of casualties.

His sister is the one telling how it happened. There is no mention of who told her how the shooting happened. Also is there video of this incident?

There may be some truth to what the sister said. since the Israelis are investigating, but I bet we are hearing only the Palestian version of the incident. Can the bullet be traced to an Israeli gun?

Yeah, this is fair enough. I can see that myself and have taken this into account. If you visit the family's website, it says (within the website) that according to the father's own investigations, the tower from whence the shot was fired was 150 meters from where his son stood. It is stated that his son wore an orange vest. If this is true, it does lend some credence to what the family says. I said it before- I don't know what happened. I truly don't and I truly don't propose to. But I also won't leap to conclusions, I don't see where any conclusion can be drawn.

If the measurements and accounts given are accurate, it is difficult to believe that a sniper would have truly believed he was shooting an armed person from 150 meters.

But I suppose much can happen in the heat of the moment.
