I'm not saying that the government should decide what's a religion, or that anyone should "have the right to define religion for others". I didn't even allude to that. What we do have a right to do is decide for ourselves what we consider a religion and who we consider our enemies.
I know it's hard to read with comprehension when you're all flustered with such a large volume of diarrhea pouring from your mouth and all, but give it a try and come back and talk to me when you're making sense.
As for the Koran, what I know of it, I know form my Muslim friends. Are they Wahabbists? No. Are they peaceful Muslims. Yes. Are they moderate Muslims, meaning, do they know that the parts of the Koran that say 'kill infidels' is written for a specific moment in history, just as part of the Old Testiment is? Yes. Have they condemned the terrorists? Yes- and in public as they are part of a group seeking tolerance and understanding for all religions- of which Christians and Jews are a part. So, instead of telling someone else to educate themselves, you should take your own advice and learn that the cold-blooded actions of a few backward, sick MoFos does not speak for every Muslem. If that were true, everyone would think that all Christians want to kill abortion doctors. And we know that simply is not true.
While I believe that the ultimate war is going to be between Christians and non-believers, my speculation is that Islam (or an end time version of same) will ultimately contain most of the world's non-believers. That said, I think the big question for our day is whether the Muslim war is or is not against us!

It's hard to believe (in fact, I don't believe) that GW does not understand the enmity between Judeo-Christianity and the descendents of Ishmael (i.e. Muslims)/followers of Mohammed. He does profess Christ and appears to walk the talk, so I'm having difficulty with this BS. He is sadly mistaken if he thinks he can either "nice" these people into liking us (and therefore not bombing us anymore), which would be unbelievably naive OR "nice" these people to Christ, which is a slap in the face to the truth. Truth and "nice" are two different things!
I don't envy him this rock/hard place position (he is the president of all Americans), but I do expect truth from him (silly me!) and saying that Islam is a religion of peace is a lie and he knows it. Further, I expect him, as a Christian, to fully support other Christians, i.e. Gen. Boykin, who speak the truth.

I wouldn't count on them defending religious freedom --- not even in that circumstance. I've talked with very nice Persians who tell you what is going on in their country ---- how much suppression there is since the Islamics have taken over, how the women must put on brown rags ---- never dare to show their face in public. They get pretty honest about what Islam is --- but if you ask them if they are Muslim, you get dead silence ---- no answer at all. I make the assumption --- and I'll admit that's all it is, is even here they are too frightened to admit they may have left that religion ---- for fear of death --- which is the penalty for leaving. So maybe they are the peace-loving Muslims, they don't like the way their religion is but they can't leave it either.
This is wishful thinking. "Kill and rout the kufr" is true today and has been true for all Muslims making Jihad. Is also true for the Muslims who are quiet but like what the Jihadists are doing. Look around the world and you will find Jihad is for real today. Not just in a distant past.
The problem with Islam: The Koran tells us (even glorifies) about the life of blood, assassination, conquest and Jihad that Muhammad lead. The Koran exhorts Muslims to emulate the "exemplary" life of Muhammad. The only Muslims we can deal ones who ignore this exhortation, and there are many. They are Muslims only due to birth and habit. But this can never negate the fact that the central figure in Islam decimated those who resisted his religion_in_the_making. That through history many of his followers have copied Muhammad's aggressive, murderous ways.
