This isn't related to any sun activity, but to AOL stupidity. I live in Central New York and have Road Runner as my ISP. AOL has decided to block all emails from residential Road Runner accounts. I contacted Time-Warner regarding this, and they say they are working with AOL to resolve the problem, but so far it's been 24 hours. Every email I send to an AOL address is returned undeliverable. Since I sell on eBay, it can be pretty frustrating. Is anyone else in the country having this same problem? You'd think that since Time-Warner owns AOL, this type of problem wouldn't occur, but then that would be making sense, and most of us who at one time had an AOL account, know that AOL doesn't know a thing about making sense.

...Is anyone else in the country having this same problem?... Yes. And what's even more curious is that at the same time I'm having problems with AOL and Road Runner emails I've developed a severe case of toenail fungus.

AOL has decided to block all emails from residential Road Runner accounts. Every email I send to an AOL address is returned undeliverable. Are you sending your email through RoadRunner email servers, or are you running your own outgoing email server?
If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't worry about it -- you'll have to wait for RoadRunner to work it out with AOL. AOL has apparently black-listed at least some of RoadRunner's email servers, probably due to spam from another user.
If you do understand what I mean, you should know that AOL recently started blocking email sent directly from residential DSL, cable, and dial-up IP addresses. It's not an effective strategy, but that's AOL for you.
