here in Southern IL way out in the country... I went out at about 3:15am and saw a constant glow to the north. Skys were all clear and all the stars were shining brightly. The I just went out again (it is nearly 4:15am now) and the constant glow is still there to the north but the sky above appears cloudy now. Is the cloudy look in the sky the Aurora? - I didn't see any sudden changes or flashes at all.

never mind... we have clouds coming in now, so what I am seeing is the clouds that have been moving in over the last hour.
