I knew it would be hard and I think that things would not be margially better if the 4th ID and its supporting elements had been allowed by the Turks to storm into Iraq from the north and subject the "Sunni triangle" to a hail of fire. Right now I would deprive the area of any role in the new govermnent so long as the Iraqis do not restrain the insurgents. Local sheiks know who the killers are.
