Thank you for yet another interesting and informative post to me; it also has given me greater insight into certain key aspects of the background/history of this controversial matter.

Do you have an M.D.?

Where is your link to this PAC for Terri.

I happen to know some people who know Terri and say there was no eating disorder.

I don't need an M.D. to see with my eyes when someone is "severly bulemic". Nor do I need an M.D. to respond to your posts.

You seem to care a great deal what I think and what other people here think, because you are spreading your same rant about Terri's docter all over the forum. As if this case is just about Terri's docter. I know plenty of what I am talking about and again, your attacks on me and my beliefs tell me we are not fighting the same fight. You know nothing about my life's experience working with diabled people or people with eating disorders.

You have given us no proof that Terri had an eating disorder so why should I believe you. If you are such an expert on Terri Schindler you would have been posting here long ago, not days ago. Many of us have been following this case for years now. You do not present a logical or choherant case. If you and your "PAC" are such experts, why don't I see you on T.V. why don't I see anything about your "experts" in the news. If Terri's parents know that you all mighty "experts" are out there offering free advice , and work, why are they saying there was no eating disorder ,and having their laywer do the same? Wouldn't they be embarrased to have these great docters running all around the country working so hard, trying to help them, and of course at the same time telling people how nuts they are and waht bad decessions they have made all of this time?

You seem to want to discredit the Schindlers ability, and the people they have chosen to fight for them. Please I am not stupid. You have offered no proof.

If you are who you say you are prove it. You are an expert fighting for Terri and trying to get people to support you and her, and you attack , call names and bully people to do so. That is not really professional, nor is it very crediable.

Fo what it is worth. I just wanted to give my 2 cents before I move on. Don't write back to me because I wont be on this site again. I actually came across this site after doing a google for bulemia and potassiuam deficiency, heart attacks, etc.

I suffered from bumelia on and off for about 6 years. And I can't say I'm entirely cured 100% I've been thin all my life, but during the bulemia I actually gained weight due to the fact that I was overeating and then purging. In spite of the vomiting I was able to digest some of the food and was eating more often compulsively.

In my case, bulemia became a compulsive behavior, a way for me to escape/control/ override my stress, fear, and emotional distress. It was something that I began to do compulsively, much like an alcoholic drinks. It made me forget my problems by replacing them with physical distress--kind of like choking myself. Unless you have put your body through the repeated distress of vomiting you cannot imagine the health consequences. I suffered broken blood vessels in my face and eyes. I now have a permanently bloodshot look to one of my eyes. But what is most notable is that I have experienced severe heart problems as a result of the bulemia. That is actually what I was looking to learn more about on the web tonight .

Frankly, I just got sick of reading some of the ignorant posts. From my experience I can say:

1.Bulemics are not always thin.

2.Bulemics can hide it very well. (trust me, my own boyfriend didn't even know--I compulsively washed my mouth, the toilet, etc. to hide all traces)

3. Bulemia can cause heart failure and many other health problems. The incidence of this may be greater than we know due to the fact that bulemics are generally ashamed of their behavior and keep it a secret at all costs.

As for Terri Schaivo, I abhore this need to preserve life at all costs. Even if she were able to sense and know things about the world around her(doubtful), what a prison it would be to lie there trapped for 15 years. I can only speak for myself but I would never want to have to live through that. If people truly believe that she has a spirit then they will not be afraid to release it. It is funny how the religious folks are the ones who want to keep her body alive. What kind of god would keep a soul alive in a prison of a body?-- oh, I forgot, God ISN'T keeping her alive, people are.
