Thanks for your response. I'm not sure what percentage I'd place on the middle of FR.... maybe less than 20%.... But in anycase it takes all of the those plus a lot of the others to make someone of that conservative stripe electable... It doesn't happen often. We can elect very conservative candidates in some local races but it gets harder to do as the area expands....

But if Ronald Reagan captured a larger percentage of the electorate than the most conservative 20%, perhaps another dynamic, charismatic conservative could too. Tom Tancredo for 2004?
