We live in a two-party system.

There is only one party but it has two factions.

Their main point of contention among them is which parts of our lives they want to dominate and micromanage, and how fast to do it.

Well then, the GOP and Bush should remember not to ignore that. If anarchy with illegal immigration continues then I guess they've felt they were above the rule of law and they do not deserve conservative support.
