"I guess that you describe “The Right Wing” as those who find fault with current policies…here’s a bit of a flash: I consider myself part of “The Right Wing”, as do many others that think like I do, and disagree with people who think like you seem to do…you don’t get proprietary rights to “The Right Wing”."

IMHO, the "RightWing" encompasses those who believe government is best that governs least, and also believes that Power should be devolved from the Federal Leviathan and back to the States, Localities, Nighborhoods, Families, and Individuals, where it belongs. The Federal Leviathan will directly control $2.3 TRILLION-plus this year!! A "RightWinger"--imho, of course--believes that is simply too friggin' much and a Right-leaning Party would work to pare back that ridiculously-high amount, not continue to ratchet it up.

"You, and those who think themselves the sole proprietors of the nomenclature “The Right Wing”, spend as much time as the left pointing out the things you perceive to be failures in policy by this administration, and very little time discussing the very real advances achieved by Bush since taking office, the most obvious of course being the seeming defeat of the Democratic Party, who is floundering in total disarray, without a message, without any ideas, and without a rudder as a result of the direction, and actions taken by the Bush administration since taking office. I would be concerned Mud, when I found myself promotiong the left's talking points."

That's a hollow cheap shot, saying I'm serving the DemonRATS by complaining that the Party I supported is governing too much like DemonRATS...SHEEEESH!! I'm trying to get Republicans to proudly pursue conservative policies, wherein I believe many disaffected conservative voters will rally to our cause so as to wipe out the RATS at the polls.

FReegards...MUD

Government is best that governs best, under whatever the present circumstances may be.

And yes, in a way, when you spend your time illustrating what you perceive to be failures by this administration, and fail to equally recognize victories, you are carrying water for the Democrats. If you don’t believe me, watch one of their “debates” and you will hear them sound very much like you sound.

Bush has failed to…

The idea that highlighting complaints about the current administration governing like Democrats will bring about the return of disillusioned conservatives to the fold is just preposterous.

Go back and find out what Bush promised to do during his candidacy, has he done those things? Is he trying to get those things done?

I don’t recall Bush having made any campaign promises to do the things that you are disappointed in him for not having done.

Perhaps Mud, you should judge his tenure by taking stock of how he followed through on his campaign promises, taking into considerations the unexpected events in the past two years, instead of promoting disenchantment because he failed to hold up to your expectations.

If I ask to borrow your car, and promise that I will wash and wax your car before returning it, and I do as promised, you have no right to accuse me of not doing what I was supposed to do because I did not fill up the gas tank as you expected me to do.
