NR bothers to throw a bone the libertarian's way, must be coming up on an election year.

NR has been very consistant in their views of marijuana, wod, etc.

That leftist pro-drug National Review is at it again

You got that right. Not one mention of George Soros, the daddy warbucks of the pro-drug movement in America.

Oh well I guess the National Review is going down the road of "out of sight, out of mind".

Yes, and they should be applauded for it.

However, the new NR may well be for "legalization" but they also favor the PATRIOT ACT. The PATRIOT ACT is now a fact of life, legalization is just a fanciful position to enjoy some libertarian credentials. If you saw Frum's embarrassing defense of Rush, you would see a good example of where I am coming from.

I still don't quite understand why Tommy Chong is in jail while that fat head, Robert Downey, is still walking around.

LOL! So anybody who discusses the War On Some Drugs without dragging Soros' name into it is "leftist"? You're a funny guy.

I guess its possesion vs. dealing. Not that Chong was dealing actual weed....

We should start calling drug warriors who neglect to mention the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation "leftists"?

BTW, what do you think of the nifty new WOD Ping banner chance so graciously designed for us?

From the article:

Brand Bush a murdering, oil-grabbing imperialist and you can still fall asleep in the certainty that men in masks and Kevlar vests won't drag you away in chains at 3am. Sell a few bongs like Tommy Chong and you won't be so lucky. Even Osama, who has no tolerance at all for dissent, would get a laugh out of that.

Interesting take on our ridiculous WOD from Down Under ...

Of course not, but you pro-drug validators post an obscrure article from an obscure magazine(National Review) that 99% of the American populace would say "Huh?", when asked about if they knew what "The National Review" was.

And then you all go on an orgasmic tear on FR, saying "look, look" we have validation from an obscure writer, from an obscure magazine(in terms of the general American populace), we won the "war", you evil drug warriors.

It's kinda of funny and pitiful at the same time, IMO.

Huh, could you please point out where I have praised the "Robert Wood Johnson Foundation" on FR?

"People selling drug paraphernalia are in essence no different than drug dealers. They are as much a part of drug trafficking as silencers are a part of criminal homicide."

-John Brown, acting head of the DEA, February 24, 2003

The gun reference of course makes it clear what the real agenda of these statists is, which is why the Second Amendment supporters and the anti-WOsD people should be staunch allies.
