Since when are filthy terrorists called "guerillas"?

Their useage is accurate:

A member of an irregular, usually indigenous military or paramilitary unit operating in small bands in occupied territory to harass and undermine the enemy, as by surprise raids.

But the word "guerilla" carries with it considerable romantic baggage.

There's only one word that should ever be used for these people -- TERRORISTS. Period.

I suppose for variety, the term "those responsible for over 3,000 dead Americans on 9-11-01" could be substituted.

Word-choice counts.

"guerilla" almost always refers to attacks on decidedly military targets. The deputy mayor of Baghdad hardly applies.

Also, "small bands" is decidedly different from "one guy with an exploding belt".

Defining a filthy terrorist as a guerilla is insulting to guerilla warfare. A fuller definition of a filthy Muslim terrorist would add:

They will use any means possible to murder or disrupt and overturn the peace; they will even strap a suicide vest onto their own daughters just to murder and maime innocent civilians, no matter if those civilians are their fellow Arab Muslims. A filthy terrorist will even kill a Christian just so he can spend eternity in Muslim heaven indulging in eternal sex with his promised virgins. While a man engaging in guerilla warfare can sometimes be in the right, a filthy terrorist is always a filthy terrorist, no matter how much he fears his false god."
