I was referring to the last paragraph, where the word occurs. Killing the deputy mayor of Baghdad is an "assassination" not a "guerilla attack".

That's a mighty fine hair you're trying to split - to what end? We're in a guerilla war, and it's stupid (indeed counterproductive) to pretend otherwise.

Not only does Reuters incorrectly call these thugs guerillas, they pronounce their attack successful in that it caused a "setback." Reuters is encouraging these assassins.
