Thanks for the pictures! I was in CA in the late 70's or early 80's. We were staying at a resort and there was a huge forest fire that basically went around the resort. We watch the fire quickly spread over the mountains. Occasionally, you would see a patch of black smoke that we figured was a house going up. :( I remember a lot of animals being run out at well. Stay safe!
