I heat my house with wood, and I have a good chain saw. I have already used up 7 chains that they won't sxharpen amy further because they are worn out. I love my saw. I have developed the attitude that I will cut what I wantd, the crippled, leaning, scraggly, which aren't going to be nice straight trees in the future. If the county hassles me, I just may cut them all down for spite. They don't pay my property taxes. I do. I took out plenty of manzanita, but I didn't have blackberry bushes. Did kill most of the poison oak, also. That's an ongoing thing, along with the star thistle and sow thistle.

If you're interested,a nice saw sharpener is made to work with a mototool. They're inexpensive, quick and easy to use.I wouldn't be without one.
I imagine a lot of saws are going to be needed shortly.
