ISDN most likely. No harder to install than a DSL line (I believe it's largely just two regular phone lines combined into one), and allows sound quality comparable to an in-studio mike.

Well...thinking about it...ISDN's two B channels. If you mix it all down, including clips and music and anything else, you can send the whole show to the studio on one channel, and still have the other free to use for taking calls & talking to the board op. Plenty of room considering it's AM radio we're talking about.

That's pretty slick, now that I think about it.
