Yes, I understand that. But when you watch what is happening, its the Red Cross volunteers here that are working very diligently on the lines here and in the burned neigborhoods. Of course they are not the higher-ups in the organization.
I did hear that Father Joe of St. Vincent de Paul Village here is accepting donations and they are getting the supplies here locally and bringing them to the Red Cross volunteers.
Father Joe is a great fixture here in San Diego and I feel I can trust him and the great work he does.

Of course they are not the higher-ups in the organization. Hey, even the guys that ring you up and ask you to donate to the Police Association have to send you a sticker for your car. They have to make some sort of a showing.
But mark my words, when this is over and it is time for people to get assistance from the Red Cross, there will again be a Red Cross scandal. After as many times as they have been caught, they are not going to magically change.
