- Big Bear, Forest Falls, and Seven Oaks are under MANDATORY evacuation check www.bigbear.us for updates. Highway 18 is the only way for outbound traffic. Follow-up on the scanner: Everything east of Seven Oaks is a MANDATORY evacuation! Get out now. The fire is blazing and moving too fast to think twice.

- The east fire (Running Springs to Big Bear) has not crossed some main spots yet, but it is on top of the ridge. There are crews to work with air attacks. This fire is moving EXTREMELY FAST. We are watching Chuck Henry on NBC-TV. Chuck won't leave, putting himself and cameraman in danger, yet he tells people to evacuate.

- More air drops pounding the area of the water tank (Lookout Point) and going east. Two at a time now.
