Apologies to most here. My comment was directed to those that cause these situations.

Nine air tankers in Ramona are at this point but the flight till morning so things are looks OK for the Cedar fire.

Wind is calm here in town, Redlands, I can see the wind pushing the fire down the mtn to the north of me about 8 miles, hwy 330 isn't burning bright like last night.

I thought the phrase "near propane tank" was interesting.

I watched channel 2, 9, 11. None of them ever seem to have a decent map of the fire area. It's always some talking head out there in front of the flames, saying the same thing, every time the anchors come back to him.

did anyone else catch that comm earlier tonight, about the CHP moving half their command post off the mountain at 4pm? A deputy said he heard CHP had left altogether...but CHP said they only moved "files"
In either case, no one told SBSO (Sheriffs) prior to the move. (I bet a big CHP semi is leaving town at this moment)

Flames heading into Porter Ranch.Used to own a home on Killoch Place and remember being on my roof with a garden hose back in 1989 as a fire rushed down the hill. Burned 6 or 7 homes less than a quarter mile form my house.

According to KUSI (which has had great coverage, better than any of the cable news or networks), its now burning like hell up in the Cleveland National Forest, in largely unreacable (by land) areas.. headed north. There's a lot of open land up there and lots to burn.
