Especially since it was on KFOG... highly dubious.

I did hear something like the Church of Technology bringing in their own private firefighters for structure protection...I am surprised some of the "big wigs" havent done this...

The host on KFI this morning ridiculed and scolded callers who declared their intent to stay and try to protect their property. What a pompous jerk! I finally tuned him out.

i wonder if they could divert big bear lake somehow and swamp the fire as it approaches. that probably wouldn't work if the fire 'tree hops' though.

If they diverted the lake, it would probably pour over burned out areas and create mudslides though.
