I can't guess how much she understands. She knows enough to be scared. The nurses reported that Michael used to go into her room and close the door. When he left, they'd find Terri extremely agitated and frightened, and she would not respond to care for long periods. (The nurses found unexplained insulin bottles or ampules after one of those visits, maybe more than once, I don't know.) Nowadays Terri gets sullen and withdrawn for hours when Michael's around.

I'm wondering if she remembers something.If she gets rehab and communicates it MS could be in big trouble. Even if she doesn't remember the night this happened, she must remember how he's treated her in this hospice or she would'nt get upset when he enters the room.
