Have not heard what they're doing with the people at Patton, but based off of how bad it has been in that area these last few days, and the fact that Highland was brushed by the fire before, I'd guess they have long since evac'd the people there.
I could be wrong, however; will listen for any info.

spot fires being reported near Angeles Oaks, up above Forest Falls
Fire jumped hwy 18 and headed for Strawberry Peak. Strawbeery Peak is big commo site, FF will lose microwave link if Strawberry gets burned

I worked at the VA in La Jolla for a while in college and remember the scariest patient on the Psych ward was shuttled between the double locked ward and Patton. The dude was paralyzed and scared the snot out of the nurses. Scary man (was on Haldol/Thorazie AND Stelazine at higher than the recommended max doses).
