This sort of thing is paranoia, whether dismissed or not. Terrorists don't terrorize if they don't announce their terrorism. Arson is one of the most mundane and routine criminal acts around, and there's no reason to think a random pyromaniac isn't to blame until evidence to the contrary.

And we still don't know that there was no wider conspiracy behind the snipers. I still suspect there was.

If I am not mistaken, no one ever took 'credit' for the Cole bombing. That was still a terrorist act.

Yes.

John Muhammad has been linked to al Fuqra, and there are numerous ties from there to to al Qaeda.
