Interesting concept. I felt that same concept about a lot of things. Could it actually be someone(s) from the so called opposition? Usually to cause a lot of damage that costs a lot of money and sometimes lives.

Not likely. Environmentalism is a belief system based in ancient ignorance, and total denial of reality. Most of it's proponents are authoritarians, who also wish to advance totalitarian socialism, and eliminate property rights.
