You should pay attention more.
The heart attack was caused by a massive potassium imbalance in her system, possibly due to her bulimia.
Her persistant vegitative state is a result of approximately 15 minutes of oxygen starvation to the brain following the heart attack.

Dear Clam:
Please finish your thoughts. It seems you have information and a position on this. I'd like to see you lay it all out.

And your evidence of prior bulimia would be what, exactly? And the potassium imbalance?

There were blood tests done at the time and there were NO markers found that would indicate that she had a heart attack.

Did you read the letters before posting? One said something regarding no heart damage. READ, then post.

You should pay attention more. Too bad a noted forensics expert doesn't agree with you about the cause of her injuries.
Dr. Michael Baden has stated that it looks very likely that she was beaten. He reported that just last week after having reviewed her scans.
Another dr. has stated that the injuries to her neck are consistent with a strangling victim he once saw. In fact, he stated that he had only seen those injuries in that one other case.
And there are reports that on the night of her "collapse" Terri was found with her hands clenched around her throat, as if to protect herself.
You should pay attention more.

Please do tell. Why didn't Michael Schiavo administer CPR to his beloved wife. (We know he was a card-carrying CPR person.)

The heart attack was caused by a massive potassium imbalance in her system, possibly due to her bulimia. This was the explanation given a long time ago. Her family was supposedly aware of her problem with bulimia.
Now, have you seen any medical documents proving that she had a major potassium imbalance? Did they even check to see if that was the case? Which doctor, if there were such tests, was it that did the test? One of Michael's?
How many 26 year olds with bulimia have major heart attacks?

Please read what Dr. Michael Baden had to say about this - a highly respected pathologist with his own HBO documentary.
Not a chance of a heart attack - she was admitted to the hospital with broken bones, rigid neck, etc. Most likely battered almost to death.
