Well, I am confused again on this point: Did Schiavo or did he not starve and dehydrate both of his parents too? If so, did his brother and sister-in-law, who also said Terri would not want to live "with tubes," concur with the starvation and dehydration?

Notice, that Schiavo also went out of his way to say that he is "pro-choice." Chilling how that works on both ends of the life spectrum. It started with being pro-choice for the mothers vis a vis the lives of their unborn (or half-born) babies; now we have pro-choice for the guardians vis a vis the lives of the incapacitated (with the absence of a living will being no great barrier if someone can convincingly recount a passing statement the decedent-to-be made about not wanting "artificial" life support).
