To any fellow who has an idea how we all ought to live and concurrently denies the existence of God I would like to direct 2 questions. Why? and Who sez?

Indeed. The societies in which the theoretical discussion of freedom and constitutional law became pursuits for educated gentlemen were societies which had enjoyed hundreds of years of Christian civilization and Christian higher education.

The actual scholarly sources of such speculation had been cultivated by those dedicating themselves to Christian moral principles.
These did take place in non-Christian societies. The casualties of American secular humanist education have been philosophically and spiritually emasculated to the point such disquisitions are impossible. Those who undergo the formal lobotomy do not even believe that "truth" is possible. Moral relativism merely opens the door to everything, including tyrants and genocidal political mass murderers.
