One possibility not mentioned here is that Clinton is telling the truth, and his revelation has put blair in a difficult position, since having health problems like he describes and not publicly disclosing them would not be considered proper handling.

My guess is that Bubba is trying to shoot Blair down because Blair sided with Pres. Bush on terrorism. Also, some time ago Blair made a statement saying that he trusted Bush's promises far more than Clinton's. I don't think Bubba will ever forgive Blair for that.

When Clinton was President, he would always smirk when playing loose with the facts. In order to keep sociopathic self in the news, and in order to fill the large and empty hole that is in his stomach, this deceitful cad of humanity will attempt to deceive,misinform and generally insert himself into any situation on earth. This is a classic example of Bill Clintoon screaming out " Don't Forget About Me" , and unfortunately, through his actions against the USA for 8+ years , we won't be able to do that for many many years. As if his making this specific comment could possibly help Tony Blair (who's public poll ratings are rotten) in the face of British peoples opinions at this time.
