Good morning, Billie Blubonnet...)
Good morning to all our Hostesses and all the Finest.
I wake up today, the sky is gold and rose from the terrible fires all around me, but I'm far enough away to be touched only by falling ash and the hellish images on TV.
Also, I'm touched by news of the war. It rouses anger at the enemy, and the cowardly Democrats who would choose French way, were they in charge.
May the Lord be blessing our Commander In Chief, our troops and their families...always.

Good Morning..I've been up through the night listening to the news.Received a Freepmail from a freeper in Coalition Authority that I'd pinged to a John Huang column. He was hearing explosions as he wrote from the headquarters in Baghdad.I just didn't go to bed.
I witnessed a terrible fire in Goleta when I lived there, though they called it the Santa Barbara fire.It is terrible to imagine how widespread these fires are.God bless the firefighters, those who have lost homes and those who have lost loved ones.

Hi jwfiv. Was thinking about you as I watched the news about the fires in California. What a horror, my prayers are with all those affected by this.
Happy to hear that you are safe.

It just breaks my heart to hear of all the homes and land, not to mention the lives, destroyed by those fires. What a horrible thing it must be to see everything around you go up in flames that way. Please stay safe, we love you.
