"So there is the confirmation we were looking for, there was cement residue in Laci's body cavity".
Did the Coroner's autopsy report mention cement? If not we might have conformation of insubstantiality. This type of evidence is why we have gag orders.
Sorry Maggs,Ah think we are gettin caught up in Da moment, But what tha hey it's been a long haul.
That's ok, someone else said, while talking about some golf club attack "in" da Peterson home, paraphrasing,"one drop ah bluhh on ah wall or da cieling clinches it" uh huh!....;-)
'n all these years ah thought Mardi Gras was tha best free show on earth.
Wow, Kin ya imagine before trial.
Ah wonder if MG is going to lie schauty on to tha table before Brazelton lies schauty's way off the table, Time will tell all....:-0)

,"There were leaks about cement residue in his boat and on human remains that turned out to be Laci Peterson and her unborn son." Why does the term "dead to rights" keep coming to my mind?

Don't be so confident. Condit was dead to rights. He still has of yet explained the time gap in his schedule after he met with Cheney the day Chandra vanished and was murdered.
I have zero faith in the court system in D.C. and here in California.

Hi Howl! I think that is an excellent idea, for those of us stuck at work. It's gonna kill me to limit my posting!
Rb, what do you think about a live thread during the proceedings???
To: Jackie-O
Do you know what time it starts?

I think they have a lot more than we know about; and we're going to start hearing it tomorrow!
I felt the same way you did and then a jury in Durham convicted Mike Peterson.........I was THRILLED!

Are you still suffering from the OJ aquittal? (me too, and I don't even live in CA) Surely it must have given you some faith when they convicted Westerfield?
To: Howlin
Can we move the Robert Blake and Scott Peterson trials out to Durham please. We have enough on our plates here in California as it is.
To: dogbyte12
I wish you could have heard the Assistant DA in Durham talking about all the pornography they found on Mike Peterson's computer.
She said, (in her best South drawl), "Why, we couldn't even show that stuff on TV; it was filth! Pure T filth!"
The jury dropped the hammer on him!

9:30AM...I've been listening to the hearings at work via Realtime. I would much prefer a live thread tho, I love everyones commnentary as it's happening. Remember the Situation Room? It was great when Rummychick would transcribe the breifings, press conferences..it's been so long, I think it was her. Anyways, it was great to read and comment as it was happening.

Do you think they will do it like they did the Kobe thing, with reporters running out to keep us updated -- or any guesses on how they will handle it?
(Gosh, I am spoiled-----I want it on TV.....LOL)

"The time varies, just in case someone tries to take a shot at him." This is a typical "Murky News" tactic - to add some stupid comment involving guns, SUVs or conservatives in most of the articles the clymers at that paper cover.....
Think about it folks....
If anyone wanted to shoot the bastard off the rooftop - do you REALLY think that altering his scheduled walk a hour or two each day would really save his butt?
Of course not...
The dolt who wrote that line, pulled her head out of her clymer just long enough to write that line....

No doubt CTV will have their reporters seated in the courtroom and running back outside to report. The have been airing an old trial this week, from last year. I think they didn't want get into anything they couldn't break into. They have been waiting to cover this trial, so CTV will be the place to camp this week.
